I should be writing my bigbang (but am playing breeches bingo instead)
tumbled hair, girls rule, austen

Given that it's been appallingly gross outside all weekend and I know this week will be so crazy busy at work that I will have zero energy by the time I drag myself home. But instead I've been scouring YouTube for vids clips of projects with Kevin McKidd and Rupert Penry-Jones (UK FLISTIES - why did you not tell me about North Square?!? Is it any good?). And then. THEN. I found THIS, and it is making me howl with laughter while I clap like a demented seal.

There were only two films I didn't recognize from this vid, and clearly I need to catch up on them. It's like breeches bingo, watching this vid and identifying clips. Treat yourself!

p.s. - my bigbang is het, so maybe I could get away with calling this vid research? hmmmm.

I don't think Peter is worth staying faithful for, but I like the sense that I get that Alicia stays faithful for herself - that's interesting to me.

I also like that I can't pin down if it's attraction I'm seeing between Will and Alicia or just that "wow, we were once so close and maybe we could have that again" thing that old friends sometimes have when they're reunited.

I can't tell you what the "sheer hotness" argument means to other people, but for me, non-fan of PWPs, in this case, what I mean is that the characters are good-looking and have sparked off each other in really interesting ways that lead me to believe that sex to them would be of value to the story. (A moment I loved: when Kalinda, in the latest ep, suggests that they get their answers from the accused murderer, and Will gets where she's going, and asks if she's up for it. She says yes, but she kind of swallows and flinches a little, suggesting that she's putting up a brave facade, and we don't know if Will - the only one looking at her head-on - saw it or registered it or understood it.)

Ah, I get what you mean. She isn't one to rush headlong into things, and I do think that she needs time to figure out who she is and what she wants for herself.

Heh. I really think there have been subtle clues from both of them already from the start, but yes, I want to have some clarification as to how close they really were, friend-wise, and also what happened back then. Was the attraction always there, did it grow or was it a deal-breaker? Also, what part did Peter play at the time?

Ah. Well, it's just... I mean, I like sparks, but for me I think the friendship/partnership angle is just as interesting. You can't choose who you fall in love with, but sometimes you can choose your friends, and that's intriguing to me. Same reason why I really like the scenes between Alicia and Kalinda.
